Anti-Infectives Franchise – National Field Vice President
Location:  Field-Based

The National Field Vice President for the Anti-Infectives Franchise is responsible for driving national sales performance by leading the Contract Sales Organization (CSO) leadership team. This role focuses on achieving business results for an exciting new portfolio of novel anti-biotics and anti-fungals.

As a key member of the Anti-Infectives Franchise Leadership Team, the National Field Vice President plays a crucial role in informing and executing brand strategy, developing strategic business plans, and ensuring high-quality training and implementation.

Scope of Role:

  • Accountable for national sales performance through CSO leadership, focusing on business results, clear communication, aligned goals, and an impact mindset.
  • Member of the Anti-Infectives Franchise Leadership Team.
  • Informs brand strategy and converts it into an executional sales strategy.
  • Develop strategic business plans, communicate them, and monitor performance to ensure objectives are met.
  • Models company culture pillars and encourage courageous decision-making.
  • Conduct formal business reviews and ensure high-quality training and strategy implementation.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders at various meetings to align goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sales execution plan aligned with brand strategy.
  • Consult with the Director of US Strategic Outsourcing for contract finalization and risk management.
  • Ensure risk mitigation and third-party oversight.
  • Provide resources and data to the CSO team for effective strategy execution.
  • Develop job profiles and ensure high-quality recruitment.
  • Build and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Analyze data for insights and decision-making.
  • Oversee operational aspects, including infrastructure and compliance.
  • Participate in relevant committee meetings.
  • Set clear expectations for a successful launch meeting.

Why You?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • 8+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Direct line management or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to travel domestically, including overnight travel.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced clinical/science degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Pharmaceutical Sales Management.
  • 2+ years of second-line sales management or equivalent industry leadership experience.
  • Experience in the anti-infective market.
  • Success in a matrixed environment and with external vendors/partners.
  • Strong business analytics and strategic planning skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Ability to build accountable and results-driven partnerships with external vendors/partners.
